DAVID GEFFEN HALL: BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY THROUGH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

The New York Philharmonic and Lincoln Center, are committed to investing in New York’s future—that means investing in New Yorkers.

This is why, as the New York Philharmonic and Lincoln Center work together to transform David Geffen Hall—the home of New York City’s legendary orchestra—into a world-class concert hall and a major new tourist destination, we are offering a Workforce Development Program for qualifying New Yorkers—especially those who are in our local community or new to the workforce.

The Workforce Development Program includes five weeks of full-time paid training to introduce program participants to the construction trades, a paid apprenticeship, and long-term employment and career opportunities in an in-demand and hands-on field. Those who complete the program will be offered full-time employment as an apprentice with either Turner or one of Turner’s sub-contractors.

If you’re interested in a rewarding career in construction, then let’s move forward together to build a stronger community.
